Job purpose: * I am looking for a PA to support my 9 year old son who has autism and attends a specialist school. He is non verbal but is also starting to say a few words. He thoroughly enjoys being outdoors, soft play,swimming. * Weekend work during term time as my son has a routine during the week for school. Work Duties will include: * Identify local social activities * Motivating and encouraging my son to take part and try new things * Helping them to develop social skills Other requirements * Establishing and maintaining effective communication with both myself and maintaining confidentiality. * Always ensuring the safety of the child Requirements for applicant * Imagination in relation to activities to undertake * Good sense of humour * Flexible, reliable and honest * Physically fit, agile and energetic * Experience with children with Autism essential * Full driving license with business insurance within your policy (not essential as my son has a bus pass with a carer added on it) * DBS Check will be completed by the employer free of charge Location – Ashford, Kent * Number of hours available are flexible.
