Join our dedicated Duty and Assessment team in Hull as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. You will work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to deliver high‑quality services and interventions that promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of children and families.
* Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Providing guidance and support to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
Qualifications and skills required:
* A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Registration with Social Work England or equivalent professional body.
* Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
* Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating effective assessment and intervention skills.
