Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher who is passionate about creating outstanding learning experiences for SEMH students within a mainstream secondary school. Roles and Responsibilities:
* Deliver Maths in small groups or 1:1 settings.
* Provide pre-teaching and reinforcement to build confidence and understanding.
* Work with students unable to access mainstream lessons, including those with emotional-based school avoidance.
* Aim to reintegrate learners into mainstream education where possible.
* Support pupils through to sitting their GCSE exams, even if delivery continues throughout KS4.
We are looking for someone who is:
* Qualified & experienced – a teacher with a strong background in teaching Maths up to KS4.
* Skilled in curriculum delivery – able to consistently plan and deliver high-quality lessons across key stages.
* Inclusive & adaptive – capable of meeting the needs of diverse learners, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND, and high-attaining students.
* A strong communicator – able to motivate, embrace change, and foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
* Committed to enrichment – willing to go beyond the classroom, offering opportunities that enhance student experience and personal growth.
* Focused on professional growth – eager to develop your own practice while supporting and empowering others.
