Job Description
Due to the hotels increase in business we are now looking for someone else to join our Night Team in Ipswich, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift, managing front desk duties, performing financial reconciliations, and providing exceptional guest services.
Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting
Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs
Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and hotel public spaces
Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics
Handle phone calls professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for callers
Assist with administrative tasks as required during the night shift
Ensure the security and safety of guests and hotel property during overnight hours
Collaborate with other departments to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues
Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, promotions, and local area information to assist guests effectively
32 to 40 hours on a zero hour contract

Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of efficiency during night shifts
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software
Flexibility to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management is a plus
Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
Professional demeanor and a positive attitude
The use of Opera cloud would be useful
