Responsibilities
* Development and maintenance of strong relationships with your clients
* Understand the nature of clients’ businesses and how they operate
* Completion of accounts to a high standard in accordance with FRS 102 section 1A
* Complete Personal Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients in conjunction with the completion of accounts
* Preparation of VAT Returns
* Meeting monthly planning targets
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll have prior experience working in a similar position within a qualified accountancy practice. You’ll be confident managing deadlines, have strong attention to detail, and be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Solid Microsoft Excel skills and a good working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software
* Experience with most of the following platforms is preferred: CCH Accounts, CCH Personal Tax, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
