Job Overview We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our MHSOP South Leics CMHT on a full‑time or part‑time basis. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically, to deliver the best effective care for our patients.
Qualifications Applications are invited from registered medical practitioners who have or are eligible for a CCT, or an equivalent approved indicator of training, and are eligible for entry onto the Specialist Register within six months of the interview date.
Responsibilities
Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to patients and carers.
Ensure patients, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity.
Provide clinical leadership, developing the team and offering expert advice to hospital and community specialists, managers and directors.
Maintain responsibility for patient care and the proper functioning of the department.
Liaise with general practitioners, hospital and community specialists, and other agencies.
