About the Company - Reed Recruitment, are working on behalf of a client who are seeking a Senior Financial Planner Support to join their Busy Office
About the Role - Take on a senior support role to assist Financial Planners and Directors, ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality service and support. Mentor and develop team members to deliver exceptional service to clients. Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure all team members consistently follow internal systems and processes.
Responsibilities -
* Create and compile documents to produce accurate client review packs and check packs as needed.
* Provide proactive, high-quality support to Financial Planners and Directors, assisting with urgent and technical issues when necessary.
* Ensure all client communications are clear and accurate, coordinating policy analysis, liaising with providers, and maintaining a full audit history of information provided.
* Keep Financial Planners and team members informed of progress, managing any arising issues and escalating concerns or complaints as necessary.
* Hold weekly review meetings with Financial Planners to discuss priorities and any issues.
* Prepare for and attend client meetings to support Financial Planners by presenting parts of the meeting (e.g., cashflow/CGT calculations) as required, with line manager approval (1-2 times a month).
* Conduct pre and post reviews, delegating tasks to FP/team support as appropriate. Ensure meeting notes are issued promptly (within 2 weeks) and actions are completed.
* Mentor junior team members to enable them to undertake tasks that benefit the team and clients. Escalate any concerns to the Team Leader.
* Understand complex products and assist in developing procedures for the team.
* Work with platforms and providers to ensure clients' holdings are correctly managed. This includes authorizing SL Wrap wizards, checking platform inputs, and actioning instructions received to the Client Instruction Queue.
* Generate template suitability letters from IO and complete free type sections where possible. Train other team members to support this activity.
* Ensure cash weightings are checked weekly and actioned in conjunction with the Financial Planner.
* Keep IO up to date and ensure opportunities are added and maintained regularly and correctly, in consultation with the Financial Planner.
* Process all client instructions using the respective advice flow, checklists, and IO event lists and tasks.
* Manage project activities to ensure efficient office operations (e.g., streamlining processes and documents, creating frameworks for checking work, ensuring templates/documents are updated and in the right place, workflow management).
* Ensure compliance with legislation, rules, and procedures at all times. Liaise with the Compliance Manager and Team Leader when standards or processes are not adhered to.
* Maintain and update talent development records .
Qualifications
* Diploma qualified or equivalent experience.
* Other relevant qualifications.

* Becketts' mandatory compliance training.
