Overview
Home Delivery Driver role delivering groceries in a 3.5 tonne van, with responsibilities across driving, customer service and in-store support. The role involves working in fast-paced environments to provide a great doorstep experience for online customers.
Responsibilities
* Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in good condition.
* Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before starting the journey.
* Drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions, delivering to a range of residential properties.
* Serve customers brilliantly, assist with questions and substitutions, and keep customers informed of any delays.
* Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
* When not delivering, help across the store as needed.
* Be friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and delivering the best doorstep experience.
* Work in a fast-paced, physical and high-energy environment, using initiative to solve problems—often independently but also thriving as part of a team.
* Be flexible and productive across the store when needed; full training in a variety of skills to learn, develop and try new things.
* Be comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology to perform the job, and move shopping containers up to 15 kg.

Eligibility
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and, if successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join us.
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
