We are now seeking a proactive and people‑centred HR Advisor to provide professional, solutions‑focused HR support across the organisation and play an important role in shaping the colleague experience.
The Role
As HR Advisor, you’ll provide trusted support to managers and colleagues, offering clear HR guidance and helping drive a positive, engaging people experience. Your work will strengthen our processes, build capability and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Employee Relations & People Support
1. Provide high‑quality advice on performance, sickness absence, conduct, grievances and capability matters.
2. Coach managers to build confidence in people management and wellbeing conversations.
3. Lead and support employee relations casework, ensuring timely, fair and compliant outcomes.
4. Support probation, appraisals and performance improvement plans.
Change Delivery
5. Support HR Business Partners with organisational change programmes.
6. Coordinate consultation activity, documentation and colleague engagement for restructures and TUPE processes.
Performance Culture & Wellbeing
7. Help embed a high‑performance culture aligned to organisational goals.
8. Promote wellbeing, inclusion and engagement initiatives.
9. Support performance management processes and the annual performance cycle.
Talent, Capability & Development
10. Support talent, succession and capability‑building activity.
11. Work with Learning & Development to strengthen manager and colleague skills.
HR Operations & Continuous Improvement
12. Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure smooth HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
13. Contribute to modern, streamlined HR policies and processes.
14. Support accurate HR data, reporting and record‑keeping.
Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
15. Champion a positive, inclusive culture aligned with our organisational values.
16. Support employee listening activity, engagement programmes and follow‑up actions.
You Will Need:
Skills & Qualifications
17. CIPD Level 3 (or relevant experience), with strong knowledge of UK employment law.
18. Confident communicator able to build strong relationships at all levels.
19. Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise effectively and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable: CIPD Level 5+, relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
20. Proven HR generalist or HR Advisor experience.
21. Experience supporting or managing ER cases.
22. Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
23. Ability to interpret HR data and generate meaningful insight.
