Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Estimator role based in Huntly. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and quotes for projects by analyzing project requirements, materials, and labor costs. The role includes collaborating with clients, suppliers, and the internal team to ensure accurate and timely cost calculations. Additional responsibilities include assisting in bid preparation, managing tender documents, and maintaining up-to-date records for projects.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and mathematical skills to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Experience with construction, joinery, or related fields and understanding of materials and labor requirements.
Knowledge of tendering processes and proficiency in project management tools or software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word) and other relevant software.
Previous estimating experience is an advantage.
