A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Commercial Solicitor (NQ – 2 Years PQE) to join a busy and highly regarded Company Commercial team at a reputable law firm with a modern, progressive culture.
This Corporate Commercial Solicitor role offers the chance to work with a broad national client base on varied, complex and interesting matters. The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will manage their own caseload while working closely with the Head of Department and senior colleagues, gaining hands‑on exposure to high-quality transactional work and building valuable technical expertise.
The Role
As a Corporate Commercial Solicitor, you will be involved in a wide range of corporate matters, including:
* Drafting and negotiating documentation for Mergers & Acquisitions, including share and asset purchase agreements
* Supporting clients in preparing their businesses for sale
* Conducting and reviewing legal due diligence
* Advising on corporate structuring matters, including shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and joint venture agreements
* Preparing reports and ancillary documentation for transactions
* Assisting with the coordination, project management and smooth progression of corporate transactions
This role offers an excellent balance of autonomy and supervision, allowing you to develop confidence in managing matters independently while benefiting from the guidance of experienced specialists.
About You
To be considered for this Corporate Commercial Solicitor opportunity, you will have:
* NQ to 2 years’ PQE
* Experience in corporate legal services (essential)
* Exposure to employment or commercial law (advantageous)
* Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confidence communicating with clients both in person and by phone
* A proactive, positive approach and a strong willingness to learn
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team
