Job Title: Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Company Overview: Our client is an ambitious neobank operating in the digital payments space, offering card-based financial services through a scalable SaaS-driven infrastructure. As we enter a pivotal stage of growth and strategic fundraising, we seek a commercially minded Interim CFO to lead finance, fundraising, and global financial operations.

Role Overview: The Interim CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, providing financial direction, managing investor relations during the fundraise, and ensuring robust financial governance. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in card payments, fintech, or banking SaaS startups, with proven experience managing teams across Europe and the US.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead all financial aspects of upcoming fundraising rounds, prepare financial models and investor materials, act as the main finance contact for investors, and support due diligence and deal structuring.
* Strategic Financial Management: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on financial strategy, provide insights for decision-making, and lead scenario planning and forecasting.
* Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee daily financial operations, ensure accurate reporting according to standards, establish internal controls, and coordinate audits and compliance.
* Team Leadership & International Coordination: Lead and mentor the finance team, work with cross-functional teams across Europe and the US, and support building the finance function for scale.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience as CFO, Interim CFO, or Finance Director in high-growth fintech or card payments companies.
* Deep understanding of payments ecosystem, revenue recognition, and financial regulation in fintech.
* Experience supporting or leading fundraising rounds at Series A/B or similar.
* International experience with teams and investors in the US and Europe.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred but not essential.
