…
1. Act as the hospitals named Police Liaison Officer ensuring that all required liaison and crime prevention and detection is managed in accordance with information governance and patient confidentiality.
2. Provide line management to Security team as well as conduct, appraisal and PDP and all attendance management processes.
3. Work as part of the MDT and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the service for Adults and adolescents with complex needs.
4. Undertake comprehensive assessments of service users, focusing on though not exclusively to complex risk assessment and management.
5. To work across the wards to ensure service users move seamlessly through the care pathway and nurses are empowered to manage complex needs
Experience:
Essential:
6. RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number
7. The ability to maintain documentation, undertake complex audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
8. A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
9. A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk.
10. Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence
Desirable:
11. Experience in a Security/Patient Safety lead role.
12. An interest in Research, assessment & ongoing development.
