Job summary
We are looking for an individual who can work as part of a team but is also able to work on their own. Willing to complete training on the systems that are used. You will work closely with the Admin Support team manager.
Main duties of the job
The role involves taking calls from a variety of people including ward staff, care homes and families of patients in hospital. Ensuring that all Excel logs are up to date and correct and making entries onto the Mosaic system which is a directory used by Kirklees Council. The Admin Team support the Social Work Team to facilitate safe and appropriate discharge from the Midyorks Trust.

Job responsibilities
The post holder provides a vitallink between the Trust and the Hospital Social Work team and is expected to useboth Kirklees Council and Trust IT systems. The post holder will regularlyreceive or be party to highly sensitive, confidential information includingadult protection issues.
The post holderprovides an efficient and timely administrative service to the Hospital SocialWork team including the effective day to day management for effectiveadmissions and discharges.

Essential
1. Previous word processing experience in office environment.
2. Experience of dealing with people from varying backgrounds.

3. Previous minute taking experience.

4. Computer literate and able to use PC packages such as e-mail, Microsoft, excel and word and outlook.

5. Customer Care Training.
6. Previous knowledge of Care Direct.
Qualifications

7. Advanced typing / word processing qualification equivalent to RSA III.
8. NVQ Level 3 in relevant subject Business Administration or Equivalent experience working in social care/health setting.
9. A recognised IT qualification equivalent to ECDL.

10. A recognised IT qualification equivalent to ECDL.
11. Good spoken and written English.
