Protocol Education is working with a supportive Primary School in Gateshead to recruit a SEND Teacher for a long-term role. This setting focuses on consistency, emotional wellbeing and helping pupils build confidence at their own pace. Your role will include: Teaching pupils with SEND using a calm, structured and flexible approach Planning and adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs Creating a safe, predictable learning environment where pupils feel secure Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and families We’re looking for someone who: Holds UK QTS (or equivalent) Has experience working with SEND pupils Brings a patient, reflective and nurturing teaching style Has a good understanding of individual support plans and EHCPs Holds an enhanced DBS (or is happy to apply) Why work with Protocol Education?
