The firm pride themselves on delivering compassionate, expert legal support to clients navigating sensitive issues in care proceedings, child protection, and related matters.
We are seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join the Cardiff team, with experience in care law and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients through challenging legal processes. As a Solicitor you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, provide clear advice, draft court documents, and represent clients in hearings when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling care proceedings and related family law matters
* Providing timely and practical legal advice to clients and professionals
* Preparing statements, applications, and other legal documents
* Representing clients at court hearings and mediations
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
Person Specification:
* Qualified solicitor with experience in care law or family law, 1+ PQE
* Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
* Empathetic approach and ability to handle sensitive matters
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
