Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and committed Team Leader for the Forensics team. The role requires working efficiently and independently while contributing to team success, managing a dynamic set of projects and tasks.
The tasks you will undertake include:
* To lead and manage a team of forensic staff to ensure analytical work, reporting and laboratory processes are delivered to the required quality standards, specifications and turnaround times
* Coordinate team workload, monitoring performance against departmental targets, and ensuring staff are trained, competent and operating in compliance with laboratory quality systems, including ISO17025 and Forensic Regulator requirements
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members, act as an escalation point for technical queries, and ensure that operational efficiency, quality standards and service level agreements are consistently achieved

* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to motivate and develop staff within a busy production environment
* Ability to balance operational delivery with quality and compliance requirements
* Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
