My client, a highly regarded global law firm, is seeking a personable Internal Recruitment Manager/Client Account Manager to join the Consultant Lawyer Recruitment Division (ALSP) of their Talent Acquisition Team.
This is a senior, client-facing role in a leading law firm, working with some of the firm’s most prominent market clients, typically engaging at General Counsel or Head of Legal level. The Internal Recruitment Manager/Client Account Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of client placements, combining strong commercial skills with excellent stakeholder relationship management. The successful candidate will act as a key driver of revenue growth, play a role in business development.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF RECRUITING LAWYERS IS ESSENTIAL.
Salary: Up to £90k
Hybrid working: 3 days in office per week

Key Responsibilities Include:
Client Opportunity Execution & Service Delivery
* Take charge of new client matters from initial brief through to successful assignment completion, ensuring an exceptional standard of service throughout the engagement for both the client and consultant.
* Manage all commercial, operational, and financial aspects of placements, overseeing negotiations, contracts, and ongoing client engagement.
* Ensure the smooth running of on-assignment relationships, acting as the main point of contact for the client, consultant, and relevant practice group, resolving any issues swiftly and professionally.
Revenue & Financial Management
* Take full financial responsibility for the client desk, including pricing discussions, profitability, and revenue tracking.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to agree commercial terms and secure internal buy-in for each engagement.
* Work towards agreed sales targets, with the support of the wider team, to grow revenue and drive long-term profitability.
Business Development & Relationship Building
* Partner with the Senior Client Development Manager to identify and convert new client opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with aligned practice groups and external clients.
* Design and implement a schedule of business development activity to deepen client engagement and generate new introductions.
* Promote cross-selling of the firm's broader capabilities in line with wider strategic goals.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal Internal Recruitment Manager/Client Account Manager will be a commercially savvy professional with experience in client-facing roles, ideally within legal, consulting, or professional services environments. They should have a proven track record in managing complex client relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and delivering results in fast-paced settings.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to influence at senior levels, and experience managing others will be key. A proactive, strategic mindset and a collaborative working style will ensure success in this role.
