We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Regional Sales Engineer to help expand our customer base and strengthen relationships across the South East of England. This role blends technical insight with commercial drive, delivering high-quality solutions that create value for customers while supporting long-term growth.
You will lead proactive sales development activities, identifying opportunities, engaging key stakeholders, and driving strategic market expansion, while ensuring exceptional service to both new and existing accounts.
To maintain strong regional coverage, applicants must permanently reside in one of the following counties:Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, or Kent.
About the Role
This position is key to re-establishing regular supply and installation activity with a major regional water utility, while enhancing our position as a leading provider of pumping technology and related services within the wider regional customer base.

Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through excellent service and support
* Drive revenue growth via effective account management, forecasting, and achieving sales KPIs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on a deep understanding of customer needs
* Act as the primary contact for technical and commercial enquiries, producing high-quality proposals and quotations
* Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal technical and commercial outcomes
* Gather customer feedback and monitor project deliverables to support ongoing improvements
* Represent the company at customer sites, events, and professional forums, contributing insights to business strategy
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the sales organisation

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Degree or relevant tertiary education in Engineering and/or Business
* Experience in a similar role involving pumps or pumping systems
* Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Understanding of the UK water industry
* Experience working within industrial or technical sales environments
* Familiarity with CRM systems
* Knowledge of progressing cavity pump technology and applications
