The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about high-quality care and committed to leading a team that makes a positive difference every day.
As Care Manager, you will:
* Oversee the daily management of the care home and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
* Lead, support, and inspire the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
* Work closely with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure individual care needs are met.
* Manage staff rotas, training, supervision, and performance.
* Ensure effective care planning, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
* Monitor quality standards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* Previous experience in a management role within a care home or similar setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A genuine passion for person-centred care and supporting residents to live fulfilling lives.
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) is desirable.

Contract Details
This role is a maternity cover position for approximately 9 months, with the possibility of extension.
