We have an opportunity for a Structural Technician to join a well-established, independent construction consultancy based in North London. With a reputation built on technical excellence and client trust, they provide expert services in Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Project Management. We are now looking for a talented Structural Technician to join their growing team near Finchley and contribute to a diverse portfolio of structural projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team working across residential, commercial, and educational projects ranging from small refurbishments to major new-build developments up to £25m in construction value. Youll work closely with experienced engineers and surveyors, gaining exposure to all stages of project delivery from initial inspections and concept design through to detailed drawings and site coordination. Were seeking a proactive Structural Technician with between two and eight years experience, who is confident producing high-quality drawings and technical details. You should have solid AutoCAD skills and ideally be comfortable with Revit. This role will suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering precise and coordinated design work.

What You Need To Succeed
Two to eight years experience as a Structural Technician within a UK design consultancy.
Experienced with AutoCAD (essential) and Revit (preferred but not essential).
Experience preparing detailed drawings for a range of structures, from small residential to larger commercial and educational projects.
Ability to interpret engineers designs and produce accurate technical documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm to grow within a close-knit professional team.
Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent).
