Connect 4 Aviation has an exciting permanent opportunity for a B1 Licensed Engineer based in South Wales, UK. Ideally with B737NG type rating, but type training can be offered for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly professional base maintenance organisation in the UK, working within a fast-paced and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in base maintenance activities on B737NG aircraft.

Key Details –
* Role – B1 Licensed Engineer (B737NG)
* Location – South Wales, UK
* Contract Type – Permanent
* Salary – £83,420 per annum
* Sponsorship – Available for eligible international candidates
* Work Pattern –Engineers will work seasonal shift patterns from September to May, with a refresher training block in August.Role Responsibilities –
o Lead and supervise technicians and mechanics during base maintenance inputs
o Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures and Part-145 regulations
o Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, promoting a safe and efficient working environment
o Support defect investigation, repairs, modifications, and overhaul activities
o Liaise with Bay Managers and Production Planners to communicate progress and resolve potential issues
o Take responsibility for aircraft component handling, ensuring correct storage, availability, and serviceability
o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, processes, and team morale
Requirements –
o Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
o At least 3 years’ experience in a base maintenance environment
o Valid B1 AML (UK CAA or EASA)
o B737NG type rating with recent experience (Ideally)
o Proven capability in fault diagnosis, component replacement, modifications, and aircraft systems
