The role
:
You will be a crucial part of the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for weekly paid employees
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in Payroll processing
Duties:
1. Process payroll every pay period by gathering, calculating and inputting data
2. Resolve payroll queries from employees and managers
3. Assist in payroll reconciliations
4. Adhere to payroll policies and procedures
5. Ensure accurate input of employee data including new starters, leavers, and changes on the HR information system
6. Process manual calculations and adjustments when required
7. Maintain payroll systems and spreadsheets
8. Support pension scheme administration and auto-enrolment processes
9. Assist HR with general administration, including new starters, leavers, right-to-work checks, and general documentation
Competencies and experience required:
10. Due to rural workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport (no access to public transport nearby)
11. Previous experience of working within payroll
