Job description Role Overview: Salary between £26,500 - £31,500 dependent on experience ( Overtime available) This is a Mon - Fri role 07.30am to 4pm We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of mobile industrial water treatment systems. This hands-on role requires technical expertise in mechanical systems and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components to ensure optimal equipment functionality * Perform refurbishment and fabrication of parts and equipment * Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks * Calibrate and validate instruments to maintain accuracy and compliance * Work independently or collaboratively with qualified fitters, fabricators, welders, and electricians on larger projects * Adhere to Safety Risk Assessments and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards * Maintain workplace organization through regular 5S/housekeeping activities * Participate in LEAN/KAIZEN continuous improvement initiatives * Attend training sessions and team meetings * Willing to work overtime when required Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: * Proven mechanical assembly experience * Ability to read and understand technical ...
