Responsibilities
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience, responding promptly and appropriately to all guest needs and questions. You will manage your own workload and that of your direct reports, ensuring performance expectations are consistently met. A key part of your role will involve assisting guests with menu choices, demonstrating a clear understanding of how these selections impact profitability and productivity. You will manage and uphold all brand standards, lead by example and empower your team to do the same. Communicating and administering the Food & Beverage strategy to all internal parties will be crucial, as will managing the yield of inventories in accordance with budget guidelines. Additionally, you will provide essential support and assistance to the Food & Beverage Services Manager wherever required, contributing to the overall success of the operation.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience is essential. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage standards, including quality of presentation, service, and product standards, and be familiar with local Food Hygiene and sanitation standards. Analytical skills are required to prepare and analyse data generated by computer systems. You should be adaptable, able to perform a variety of duties and shift between tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English are a must for this client-facing role, ensuring seamless interaction with both guests and colleagues.
