Whether buying a hotel stay, a new TV, or a pair of trainers, most shoppers rely on reviews from real customers to guide their decisions. In fact, 93% of consumers check online reviews before making a purchase, and products with reviews are 270% more likely to be bought—thanks to the credibility and social proof they offer.
Over 80% of motorists in Europe now research tyres online, yet for many, buying tyres remains confusing, stressful, and costly. DriverReviews was created to simplify this process—helping consumers make better-informed decisions by providing verified reviews from motorists who’ve purchased tyres for the same car make and model.
Launched in 2021, DriverReviews has quickly become Europe’s largest verified tyre reviews platform, partnering with top online tyre retailers and manufacturers across 42 countries. We’ve collected over 500,000 verified reviews and are now looking to appoint an Insights Specialist to support the next phase of our growth.
Purpose of the Role
DriverReviews is seeking an Insights Specialist, reporting into the Director of Growth, to analyse performance across the key drivers of our future growth - including product review insights, email engagement metrics, paid and organic traffic trends, affiliate activity, and social/video channel analysis.
The right candidate for this role will be extremely collaborative, enthusiastic, driven and have a good eye for detail. Responsibilities include analysis of complex data to provide insights to help the business identify trends, opportunities, and strategic actions that will support future growth. You will work collaboratively with teams across Growth, Product, Data/BI, Content, Marketing and Partner Management to ensure insights are translated into meaningful decisions.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboarding
* Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Looker Studio and SQL to support insight delivery.
* Produce structured insight packs for internal teams and external partner meetings.
* Ensure data quality, consistency and clarity across all reporting.
Review & Email Insights
* Analyse our 500,000+ verified reviews to identify themes, product performance trends, brand/category movements, and consumer sentiment.
* Assess email performance used in review collection (open rates, click-through, send volumes, timing effectiveness).
* Provide insight that supports improvements to collection rates, product positioning, and review-based storytelling.
Product Performance Insights
* Track tyre performance across categories, brands, seasonal types and vehicle fitments.
* Identify product strengths, weaknesses and emerging themes relevant to manufacturers and retailers.
* Collaborate with Product and BI to enhance product-level reporting and segmentation.
Traffic & Advertising Insights
* Analyse the performance of paid campaigns, including paid search and digital advertising.
* Identify growth pockets, efficiency opportunities and shifts in user intent.
* Produce concise traffic insights to support forecasting and strategy discussions.
Social & Content Insights (including YouTube)
* Evaluate performance across social accounts, identifying high-performing topics, formats and themes.
* Review how social and video channels contribute traffic, awareness and brand engagement.
* Provide insight that supports the content strategy, creative planning and partner value reporting.
Affiliate & Partner Insights
* Analyse affiliate activity across retailers and markets to identify category strengths and opportunities.
* Track performance and trends across brands, countries and product groups.
* Support the Growth and Partner teams by identifying actions that can improve affiliate performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Growth, Product, Content, Marketing, BI/Data and Partner Management teams.
* Provide insights that support product improvements, commercial decisions, creative planning and international growth.
Key Personal Criteria
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high data quality.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and turn them into clear recommendations.
* Comfortable presenting insights to internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Collaborative working style across departments and stakeholder groups.
* Experience with Power BI, SQL or Looker Studio; exposure to BigQuery or Python is advantageous.
* Able to manage multiple insight streams and adapt to changing business priorities.
