Job description
We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistant/Carers/Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to a 78 year old man in his home.
Location: Cornwall (TR19)
Salary: £15
Hours: Varying hours of 4 hrs
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care and daily activities (e.g. dressing, feeding, mobility support).
* Must be able to administer medication.
* Catheter management.
* Must be competent managing PEG feeding.
* Provide respectful and compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
* Offer emotional support and reassurance as required.
* Follow personalised care plans and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate and timely records.
Requirements
* At least 6 months recent care experience.
* Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
* Medication trained.
* Competent managing PEG.
