This includes seeing opportunities for data-driven decision making, improving data quality, and developing data governance policies.Collaborate with business leaders and other partners to understand their data and analytics needs and to ensure the team is delivering solutions that meet those needs.Lead the D&A Support team and Platform team, including Incident Management, Capacity Management, Technical strategyDrive self-service model for the businessHandle the overall resource allocation and prioritisation of the delivery team across solution linesImplement a Project/Program Governance approach across the teamConsult with Data & Analytics Business Partners to provide support and guidance and issue resolutionLine manage direct reports, including objective setting and performance management.Maintain relationships with external and internal vendors/teamsResponsible for SOx Control for in scope D&A solutionsEnsure the team adheres to all data privacy and security regulations, and that all data is handled in a safe and responsible manner.Responsible for working in accordance with the Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK and corporate policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools and techniques in data and analytics and be able to evaluate their potential impact on the organisation.Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.About youYour knowledge and expertise:Demonstrated ability in a Data & Analytics/Business Intelligence roleGood knowledge of SQLAgile Development MethodologyExperience of Data Visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, Qlikview, TableauUnderstanding of data management, data architecture, data modelling and data governance.Big data tooling experience e.g. Impala, Hue, ClouderaProject management capabilityCase developmentUX and Design awarenessSalary and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
