Role Overview: We are seeking a warm, professional, and organised Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, supportive atmosphere while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Management: Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and positivity. Enquiry Handling: Respond to enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and escalating complex queries as needed. Appointment Scheduling: Manage the clinic's diary, schedule patient appointments, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure an efficient workflow. Daily Operations: Monitor and manage same-day schedules, addressing any adjustments or patient needs promptly. Coordination: Liaise with third-party providers to arrange blood tests, scans, and other patient services. Administrative Support: Support operations by managing patient intake processes, maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence, and assisting with other administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Key Qualifications and Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role, with prior reception experience preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Proficiency in using scheduling and booking systems. Familiarity with standard office software (e.g. email platforms). Skills and Attributes: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external providers.
