SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a patient and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling part-time role? A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Redbridge for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the life of a Year 3 student with challenging behaviours.
About the Role:
This part-time position, working 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, Monday to Friday), involves providing 1:1 support to a student who requires consistent guidance and understanding.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the student with their learning and emotional regulation.
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a calm and effective manner.
• Building a trusting relationship to help the student feel safe and supported.
• Encouraging positive engagement with the curriculum and peers.
This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role that requires someone with experience in managing challenging behaviours and a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
