Junior Claims Handler
We are working with a well‑established, specialist insurance business looking to add a Junior Claims Handler to their UK claims team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines, EL and Lloyds claims, with responsibility for managing claims above delegated authority and supporting matters through to negotiation and settlement.
You’ll work closely with TPAs, internal stakeholders and senior claims leaders, while also getting involved in:
* Portfolio oversight and trend analysis
* Claims savings initiatives and negotiations
* Complaints handling within regulatory guidelines
* Commutations and buyback opportunities
Key requirements
* Good level of claims handling technical experience and knowledge
* Understanding of PI / FI / D&O / EL / Lloyds claims
Ideal for someone with early‑stage claims handling experience in specialty lines, strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and a desire to build technical depth in a collaborative environment.
