Overview
Production And Manufacturing Engineer at QuickLink — hands-on and detail-oriented role in custom PC manufacturing. This position involves managing production orders, handling supplier communications, assembling and testing hardware, and maintaining accurate inventory and asset tracking.
Responsibilities
* Ensure production and warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
* Review and process manufacturing orders to determine required components.
* Extract part lists and coordinate purchasing with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery.
* Build, test, and package custom-built PCs to company standards.
* Maintain up-to-date inventory records and ensure accurate stock levels.
* Track assets with a strong emphasis on traceability and recordkeeping.
* Collaborate closely with team members and report workflow issues or supply delays proactively.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in PC building, hardware testing, or similar technical roles.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Experience with inventory or supply chain management is a plus.
* Ability to read and understand build sheets, part lists, and technical specifications.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Familiarity with warehouse best practices and health safety protocols.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
* Overtime in evenings and weekends will be highly likely and a requirement for the role.
Standard work hours are 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Thursday; Friday 8:00am–3:00pm.
