About the Role
Our Audit of Tax (AoT) practice sits at the intersection of tax technical expertise and audit quality. As a Senior Manager within our Audit of Tax Specialist (ATS) Network, you will lead and oversee the delivery of complex audits of tax for some of the UK's largest and most internationally diverse businesses. Your portfolio will be centred on AoT work (50-100% of your time), with the opportunity to develop a complementary tax advisory portfolio, particularly in tax accounting, where the technical fit with AoT is a natural extension of the specialism.
You will work alongside experienced Directors and Partners across our national ATS network, playing a key role in shaping best practice, driving technical training, and contributing to the strategic growth of the specialism within the firm. We offer a clear career path through to Director, with a potential pathway to Partner, supported by strong investment in coaching and professional development at every level.
Our National Tax Accounting practice is expanding to meet increasing demand for tax accounting advisory services due to deal growth and heightened regulatory pressures. We provide complex tax accounting advice and tax provision preparation to a diverse client base, ranging from FTSE 100 companies to mid-tier businesses across various industries. As a Senior Manager, you will be a key driver of this growth, contributing to client proposals, fostering strong client relationships, and helping build one of the firm's priority businesses.
We celebrate a culture where people can be themselves and are valued for their strengths. To support this, we offer empowered flexibility, hybrid working (with 40‑60% of time expected co‑located with colleagues in office or client sites), and summer working hours (a reduced working day on a Friday in July and August with hours condensed into the rest of the week).
