What you'll be doing:
As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in leading a talented kitchen team to maintain the hotel's exceptional Rosette-standard dining experience. Your creativity and leadership will help drive the menu forward and inspire those around you.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations and service
* Lead, train, and mentor junior chefs
* Develop seasonal menus using locally sourced and foraged ingredients
* Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with health & safety standards
* Collaborate with the wider team to uphold the hotel's sustainable ethos
What we're looking for:
We're seeking a passionate Chef local to the Honiton area - or looking to be a Live-in Chef who thrives in a creative, fast-paced kitchen and is inspired by working with local produce.
* Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in Rosette or fine dining
* Leadership skills with a calm, encouraging approach
* Commitment to quality, sustainability, and craft cookery
