The Role As an SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
You will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
Assist in implementing personalised learning plans
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staffWhat We’re Looking For We are seeking candidates who:
Have experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
Are confident and comfortable working within a classroom setting
Possess a strong academic background
Are patient, empathetic, and proactive
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Are reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about educationThis role is particularly well-suited to aspiring teachers, psychology graduates, youth workers, or experienced support staff looking to build their career within education.
