Buying & Operations Assistant (New Markets) |London – Hybrid (2 days in office) | Competitive Salary Benefits About the Role Join Moonpig as a Buying & Operations Assistant supporting our growing USA business. Based in London with hybrid working, this role sits at the heart of our gift range—ensuring the right products are available at the right time to deliver a seamless customer experience. Working closely with the Head of International Buying, you’ll manage day-to-day product operations, from onboarding new suppliers to optimising stock levels and supporting product launches. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, evolving environment—ideal for someone highly organised, commercially curious, and excited to build a career in buying and supply chain. If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to attend an in-person assessment day at our Farringdon office. We’ll share full details, including the confirmed date and time, with successful candidates—this is likely to take place within the next 1–2 weeks. Key Responsibilities • Own the set up of all products on to the platform, aligning with the range plan and business needs • Manage the merchandising of gifts across the Moonpig USA website and app, working closely with Content teams to optimise visibility, discoverability and conversion • Take ownership of stock management and forecasting, monitoring performance to maintain availability, minimise risk and support commercial targets • Liaise with third-party warehouse partners to manage stock levels, resolve issues and support smooth fulfilment • Build and manage supplier relationships, developing these brands on our platform • Support the identification and onboarding of new brands and suppliers that strengthen the USA range and unlock new growth opportunities • Use customer insights, trading data and market trends to shape your range, pricing and promos • Work with Content, Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to drive growth About You • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Comfortable adapting in a fast-paced, changing environment • Strong customer focus with an understanding of what drives a great customer experience • Good commercial awareness with an interest in buying, merchandising, or stock management • Proactive mindset with a can-do approach to problem-solving • Confidence using data and insights to support decisions • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with external partners • Background in buying, supply chain, or retail is beneficial but not essential • Exposure to international markets (e.g. USA, Ireland, Australia) is a plus What's in it for you?
