Description
• Preparing food produce.
• Cutting vegetables, salads, meats and fish.
• Kitchen preparation for service.
• Housekeeping of the work area.
• Storing foods in the right areas at the right temperatures & Stock rotation.
• Learning/practicing Knife skills & techniques.
• Complying with Health and safety regulations.
• Preparing hot and cold desserts.
• Plating food for service and being part of the kitchen service.
• Working 4/4.5 days per week (To be discussed at Interview.)
Requirements
• Well Presented.
• Friendly & approachable.
• Have a passion for food and want to be successful in the chef industry.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn & Confidence to try new things.
• Able to work under pressure/at busy times in a kitchen.
• Have great team work skills in a strong team of 7.
• Be able to work weekends on a rota basis.
