Mental Health and Wellbeing workers support children and young people who experience low mood, suicidal ideation and self-harm to build resilience, increase coping strategies and develop support networks. They provide individualized support through support planning, regular reviews, keeping safe planning when appropriate, and through use of volunteer mentors and group work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personalized mental health support, develop safety plans, facilitate mentor and group sessions, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to wellbeing.
Job Details
* Post: Full Time, Fixed Term until 31.03.26
* Salary: £25,545 per annum
* Benefits: MACS Pension contribution of 4% of salary, up to 41 days annual leave (pro rata and including bank holidays), enhanced paid leave for Sick, Maternity and Carers leave, paid training days per year, Flexible and Hybrid working options, Health Benefits.
