Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge in the construction or M&E sector? Our client — a well-established and reputable Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in Warwick — is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Finance Manager to join their senior leadership team.
With over four decades of industry experience, this is a pivotal role within a growing business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee all core financial operations while supervising a Finance Assistant.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Full oversight of purchase and sales ledger processes, including CIS deductions

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
*
Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns, including reverse VAT (DRC)

Raising applications for payment and monitoring job costing with project teams
*
Cashflow management and monthly reporting to the MD
*
Year-end preparation and liaising with external accountants and auditors
*
Maintaining fixed asset registers, prepayments, and accruals
*
Producing management accounts and financial analysis reports
