Sales Manager - East Anglia Region - Salary + Car Allowance and BONUS
I am looking for an experienced Sales Manager to cover a wide area and build a pipeline of sales opportunities in the domestic heating industry
Person Specification:
Field sales position selling a high-quality manufactured range of domestic heating systems such as gas / oil boilers. You will maintain existing and seek/develop new relationships, delivering sales and growth of their products. You will be responsible for achieving set target for region.
You will be apt in building strong relationships with installers/merchants. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote their solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
Knowledge of domestic gas/oil boilers. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Responsibilities to include:
Develop trust relationships with merchants and installers to ensure sales targets are achieved.
Expand the relationships with existing installers and merchants by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs, requirements and objectives.
Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Play an integral part in generating new leads, enquiries and sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships with both merchants and installers.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Control and optimise the use of promotions and discounts used to drive sales, to ensure sales at acceptable levels of return for the P&L.
Skills/Attributes:
Demonstrable experience exceeding sales/customer targets in a B2B environment.
Experience working with Plumbing Merchants, Installers. Local Authorities, Social Housing and Community groups would be desirable.
Be able to communicate effectively whether talking to someone technical or non-technical, both internally and with external partners.
Excellent presentation skills to professionally represent the client.
Self-Motivated with the ability to work under own initiative.
Strong commercial awareness, having understanding of the commercial agreements within the heating industry.
Creative and able to implement initiatives and incentives to improve region performance
