Overview
Location: Across various sites in Shirley and Solihull. Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday–Friday, term time. Pay rate: £12.21. Hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Role
Kitchen/Catering Assistants are needed to work with our clients in schools in the Shirley and Solihull area. The role involves working as part of the catering team in the kitchen, responsible for food preparation, cleaning surfaces, counter service, washing up, setting up and cleaning away the dining area.
Responsibilities
* Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
* Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
* Help with serving food and refilling supplies as needed.
* Ensure that food storage areas are clean and well-organized.
* Support the kitchen team with any other duties as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
