The role – what is it we would like you to do?
We seek a chartered senior/associate building surveyor for our Leeds office. The successful candidate will join a team covering all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying in both private and public sectors.
You will support project leaders in delivering high-quality services, ensuring successful client outcomes, sharing knowledge, fostering innovation, and maintaining our reputation. Responsibilities include managing client and project teams to deliver building surveying services profitably and on time, covering design, specification, clerk of works, contract administration, surveys, and dilapidations.

Core duties involve:
* Delivering projects from start to finish
* Maintaining effective communication for project success
* Assisting in managing client/project teams
* Visiting sites for surveys, construction visits, and meetings
* Ensuring work is accurate and timely
* Representing the company professionally and building strong relationships
Skills and attributes we seek:
* BSc in building surveying or equivalent
* MRICS membership beneficial
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS beneficial
* Experience in education, local government, healthcare sectors beneficial
* Good relations with private and public clients beneficial
* Skills in surveys, project management, repairs, and maintenance beneficial
* Well-organized, proactive, assertive, and commercially aware
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible
* Good IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel)
