KS1 Primary Teacher – Full-Time Supply

Pay: £140 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a passionate, nurturing, and adaptable KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hull on a full-time supply basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy the flexibility of supply work while benefiting from the stability of a longer-term placement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.
* Confidently follow pre-planned work and adapt activities to meet the learning needs of all pupils.
* Establish positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively to promote a focused learning environment.
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school day.
* Assess learning informally and provide feedback to support progress.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to ensure consistent classroom support.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Teaching experience across Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2).
* A nurturing, creative, and child-centred teaching style combined with clear behavioural expectations.
* Strong classroom management skills with the confidence to engage young learners.
* A strong commitment to inclusion and supporting pupils of all abilities.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
