Apprentice Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician

This is anexciting opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge in all areas ofhospital pharmacy practice required to become a qualified Pharmacy Technician,and to work towards the Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) apprenticeshipstandard.
You will gainexperience of undertaking basic clinical technical services by providing arange of pharmacy services to patients. You take part in the maintenance ofefficient stock control and assist in ordering stocks.

Main duties of the job
To undertake awide range of pharmaceutical duties under the supervision and professionaldirection of a Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Technician.

* A minimum of four GCSE (or equivalent) Grade B or above (new Grade 6 or above) including Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry (or Dual award Science/Buttercups Level 2 Foundation in Science For Pharmacy Technicians) in-line with GPhC guidance and course provider requirements.
Experience
* Work experience in hospital or community pharmacy.
* Experience in a customer service role.
Knowledge
* The role of hospital pharmacy, and hospital pharmacy technicians.
* Understand the values of the NHS.
