My client is a housing developer in Guildford, they are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee day to day operations of the customer care team within the office.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Ensure smooth running of the office-dealing with all utilities, orders, suppliers, mails, phone calls, office equipment and ensure that the office is clean and organised at all times.
2. Coordinate project activities with project managers and the staff, including managing project timelines and communicating with clients.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing clients, tracking payments and managing the clients relationships.
4. Manage Human Resources, including recruiting, hiring and training new staff, managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders and project specifications.
6. Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for the construction team.
7. Liaise with stakeholders such as the accountant where required to deliver the documents, contracts etc.
8. Supporting the Director with weekly and monthly tasks such as filing Company House documents, dealing with utility companies for the company and keeping accurate records of financial transactions.
