The role
As Accounts Clerk, youll play a key role in keeping our hotels financial heartbeat strong. Youll support the Finance team by recording transactions accurately, maintaining a clean and compliant AP ledger, and helping to ensure that our revenue streams are captured flawlessly. This is a fast - paced, high - energy role where youll make a real impact on the day - to - day operations of one of Manchesters leading hotels.
What Youll Be Doing
You will be responsible for recording, invoicing, and maintaining the Accounts Payable ledger, as well as auditing revenue recognition and cash transactions.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing F&B invoices accurately and in line with company procedures
Reconciling the AP ledger to ensure all payments are correctly posted and accounted for
Investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently on a daily basis
Matching PMS and POS reports to guarantee revenue accuracy across all outlets
Reviewing complimentary rooms, discounts, and voids for correct authorisation and justification
Reconciling and processing OTA commissions with precision
Supporting month - end processes, including journal preparation
Conducting unannounced cashier audits to ensure policy compliance
About You
Youll ideally have experience in a similar finance or hospitality role, but your drive, curiosity, and eagerness to grow matter even more. At Hyatt, youll be welcomed into a caring, fun, and ambitious team thats passionate about development and excellence.
