Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We’re looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Casual Restaurant Supervisor to join our hospitality team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic venue that hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
This is a casual position, with various hours and availability of shifts, however candidates must be available to work every Monday and Friday from 3:00pm to 10:30pm, and be able to commit to working throughout the full calendar year (including non-term time).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver excellent customer service at all times in a friendly, efficient and professional manner
2. Supervise and support the hospitality team to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently met
3. Lead by example to create a warm, welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests
4. Advise customers on food and beverage options
5. Prepare and serve food and drinks, including wine and bar beverages
6. Set up restaurant areas, including laying tables for service and events
7. Maintain stock levels, ensure correct stock rotation, and assist with stocktaking
8. Handle payments and operate tills in line with company procedures
9. Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety regulations
10. Complete and oversee accurate records such as temperature logs and wastage sheets
11. Ensure all company policies, procedures and licensing laws are followed
12. Act as a point of contact for guests, handling queries and resolving issues professionally
What We’re Looking For:
13. Previous supervisory experience within hospitality (essential)
14. Polite, professional and well-presented
15. Excellent communication and customer service skills
16. A positive, proactive attitude with strong leadership ability
17. Flexible and reliable, with the ability to commit to set weekly shifts
18. Confident, approachable and team-focused
19. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges calmly
20. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering high standards
