Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that food preparation and cooking processes run smoothly. Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs.
* Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
* Support catering events by assisting with food service and presentation.
* Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is desirable.
* Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation would be beneficial.

Pay: £12.21-£12.47 per hour
