Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of procurement activities.
Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks effectively.
Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department in achieving its objectives.Profile
A successful Interim Buyer should have:
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement management.Job Offer
Daily rate between £18.00 and £30.00, based on experience.
