Assistant Management Accountant
Background: AHC group is a private enterprise and is a leading top tier National care provider with 35 plus Homes, turning in excess of £95M and employs 2500+. Company follows organic+ buy and build acquisition model and has continuous appetite to grow. Finance team is headed by CFO and supported by FD and Accountants. Finance function has wider team including AP, AR, Payroll and all based in Finchley Central. The company has a robust Sage X3 ERP fully implemented and a Sage partnered Enterprise Data Analytics. Currently we are in discussion for a digital transformation and looking for state of art live digital analytics from multiple platforms. We also have cutting edge Business planning model which drives the business and is well received by lenders, regulators and potential investors.
Role : Vacancy arouse following Management accountant who is ready for growth into new segments and also in order to improve the reporting cycle there has arisen a need to have a Full time management accountant with strong accounting knowledge and technically sound and willingness to step into a dynamic environment and carry some exciting work in data capture, carrying out reconciliations and developing process improvements thereby helping finance team to deliver month end work as per internal diary.
Key tasks but not restricted to....
1. Bank reconciliation
2. Equal top-ups, annotations, post ME journals, Support all home and regional employees...
3. Own P&L lines and ensure consistent numbers are reported by home/by division/& business as a whole
4. Own head office cost lines and ensure the expenditure is captured in the budget lines and provide full visibility and keep the actuals and forecasts. Granular visibility of expenditure.
5. Own Development/Exceptional cost lines and provide full visibility of the same
6. Prepare Schedules to BS & analyse key PL lines
7. Reconciliations of relevant Balance sheet accounts, Bank reconciliations, Capex analysis by homes by category, Keeping trends and forecasts.
8. Inter-company reconciliation with matrix showing all group companies and related party
9. Spend analysis for department heads
10. Assist with month-end packs for homes and divisions
11. Ad hoc work relevant to the job role
12. Submit periodical report which is aligned to Capex.
13. Standalone audit of legacy companies - own and manage end to end
Requirement
14. Part qualified/ final stages with experience
15. Multi-site experience /Health care experience
16. Ability to work as part of a team
17. Numerically strong
18. Advanced Excel with ability to work within big and complex data from multiple platforms
19. Familiar with ERP environment
20. Excellent written and oral communication
21. Ready to join immediately
